Classification of quality levels for carnations

Grade A: Excellent overall feel and freshness, with full and undamaged flower buds, stem length of 60-80cm (adjusted according to variety), fresh green leaves without pests and diseases, and a minor defect rate of ≤ 5%.

Grade B: Good freshness, uniform color without fading, stem length of 55-70cm, evenly distributed leaves, minor defects ≤ 10%.

Grade C: average freshness, occasional slight burnt edges or damage to flower buds, stem length ≥ 40cm, slightly faded leaves, defect ratio ≤ 20%.

D-level and E-level: below C-level standards, with short stems and small flower heads, suitable for low demand scenarios such as wedding car decoration and petal spreading.

Grade O: Short branches, extremely small flower heads, only used for non ornamental purposes such as petal spreading or foot bathing
